Dutch Wonderland's Kingdom Coaster, a wooden classic, is a fan favorite and the longest coaster in the park. Looking for coasters? Our three world-class family coasters are your speed! Many children experience their first coaster ride on the Joust Family Coaster, a steel family layout that's just big enough for little royals to face their fears. And, once they warm up, it's time to soar in the skies on Kite Flight, Trapeze, the Sky Ride, and more! If they'd prefer to ride along with the whole family, the train, Monorail, Gondola Cruise and more are perfect. Our littlest visitors can take their first rides on pint-sized attractions like Duke's Dozers or Panda Party. We have favorites that the entire family will enjoy. In the morning, head back to the park before heading for home or stay another night.Dutch Wonderland has something for everyone in the family! Make memories together as you ride aboard the Wonderland Special train, dare to brave the Kingdom Coaster, make dinosaur discoveries on Exploration Island, and splash and play in Duke's Lagoon*! Then you can get back to the rides before heading to the Old Mill Stream Campground to stay the night. For dessert, try out one of the ice creameries or stop by one of the snack shacks for some candy and other goodies.Īfter you eat, take in one of the shows at the Celebration Theater or Storytime Corner. When you get tired, take a break and enjoy some of the food like barbecue, hot dogs, burgers, and fries. Guests can also let the kiddos dig for fossils or splash around in Duke’s Lagoon. While there are no 300-foot roller coasters or sky-scraping drop towers, the Double Splash Flume and Wonder Whip are pretty thrilling for fans who try them. With the exception of the Flying Trapeze, Bumper Cars, Space Shuttle, and the Kingdom Coaster, little ones are allowed on many of the rides. This is a family-friendly park, and kiddos can enjoy rides with parents in tow on may of the attractions. They even have a water park with rides to wash away the summer heat. With dozens of games, awesome food, live entertainment, and 32 rides, including three roller coasters, you’ll all have a blast.
In East Lampeter Township, just outside of Lancaster County in Pennsylvania, Dutch Wonderland was started by a potato farmer in 1963. It may look like a giant castle, but it is actually a wonderland.
